In the Heart of Riyadh in the Crowne Plaza RDC Hotel & Convention Center on 15th of December 2020, BTC and Huawei jointly arranged a Data Center Facilities of Intelligent Saudi event to share the latest innovative technologies, solutions and applications of Huawei’s data center facilities to our valued and respected customers from several industries.
The aim of the event was to educate the participants on the criticality and importance of Data Center facilities for the smooth operations of Data Center infrastructure. Nowadays with the surge in remote working that requires consistent connectivity to an organization’s internal applications such as Unified Communications and access to company internal applications and data sources, the importance of the uptime and continuous availability of data center/ service center infrastructure connectivity has become more critical which consequently raises the importance of the data center/ service center hosting facility.
The event started off with a brief introduction demonstrated by Mr. Obaid Ur Rehman, Solutions Architect at BTC Networks, of BTC’s corporate organization and solid partnership between BTC-Huawei along with skills and abilities in the data center facility design, implementation and certification showcasing BTC skillset when it comes to supporting the customer with a professional team that is certified and capable to assist in Data center certifications such as Uptime institute certifications for data center facility and design for Tier I, II & III standards to increase and maintain the customer’s data center efficiency and provide smooth operations in case of any disruption or failure of any of the Data center facility segment.
The event continued with the introduction to Huawei’s smart, green and reliable data center facilities solutions given by Mr. Jeff Sousa, Data Center Solutions Regional Director at Huawei. He also discussed data center trends and challenges and shared Huawei’s remarkable achievements, success cases and market share.
Moreover Different data center facility solutions that may require customizations as per customer requirements (outdoor and indoor) and pre-fabricated uptime institute certified complete data center solutions were presented along with showcasing of some of the Huawei data center facility products such as container based data centers for customers with space issues.
