Banque Saudi Fransi selects BTC emdha Digital Signature Solution for its operations by Signing the first agreement to implement digital signature and trust services in the banking sector, a stepping stone towards transition to a digital economy under Kingdoms Vision 2030.
Baud Telecom Company (BTC), the pioneer in offering commercial trusted digital signature, announced that the Bank Saudi Fransi (BSF) has finalized the agreement with BTC emdha to be the preferred digital signature provider endorsed for their banking operations.
In a graceful ceremony today the 1441\ 5\12 corresponding to 7/1/2020 the distinguished guest, His Excellency the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Engineer Abdullah Bin Amer Al-Sawah, has witnessed the signing of the first contract for the application of digital signature and trust services with BTC emdha at the headquarters of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Riyadh.
Two weeks earlier Baud Telecom Company (BTC) was certified to provide Digital Trust and Certification Services by the National Centre for Digital Certification (NCDC).
Bank Saudi Fransi showed their interest to become the leading bank in Saudi Arabia to adopt this technology, They were from the beginning had participated with BTC emdha in the Proof of Concept (PoC) exercise and was keen to adopt the trusted and reliable digital signature service aiming to raise productivity and help creativity in offering services and raising sustainable development rates to achieve the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.

Where banking transactions on digital platforms constitute the largest proportion in the market for digital transactions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
